I was sitting on the edge of a canyon about 150 feet above a nice creek watching critters come in to water. I'd been there about an hour when on the other side of the canyon an amimal started down a small canyon toward the water. As I watched I realized the animal was walking on two feet. Light brown in color, shaggy and about eight or nine feet tall. I thought it had to be a bear, but on training my binoculars on it, I realized it was no bear.  My mind said one thing, but I wasn't sure so watched it come on down to the creek when I could see that I indeed was looking at Big Foot. This made me the second in our family to see one. The animal got down and got a long drink of water, then stood, and returned the way he came down the side canyon. At the top he disappeared into the forest and was gone. When I left I went around where I'd seen him and looked for tracks, but found none, far to rocky.
Once when gathering cattle on the ranch my little brother came in with his cattle and had a funny look on his face. Dad asked him what was wrong and it took a while but he finally said his horse had spooked real bad and as he looked around he saw a figure about nine feet tall trotting across the ranch headed for the mountains. He said it sure looked like a big foot, but he was reluctant to say much.
So, two of us have seen them, and mine was 20 years later. So guys, chew on that one for a while.

You're right about to many native American stories. I've been reluctant to say anything because of all the false information out there.

I've been intrigued with the stories, legends and myths concerning Big Foot,  what you stated was it also a tall tale or fact??

    inquiring minds need to know.

It was fact, no tale or lies, but no one seems to believe it, so it doesn't matter to me. I know what I saw. folks can believe it or not.

Been up in the highlonesome trekking so haven't been here lately. To much fun to worry about computers doing that.
