The full stock is what I have the most of now I think they look gracefull and are beater balanced.

I like the looks of a full stock but all my guns to date are half stock. I'll have to remedy that situation one of these days.

pathfinder

I like full stocks for flint and half stocks for percusion.

Full stock for me easier to look at I suppose more to decorate ifn you like that sort of stuff. I have a full stock pennsylvania which has loads of character from years of use.Looks really used!!! I also have a dixie po'boy which is a nice looking rifle, but I may part ways with it cause its a leftie and I really dont need it, just an impulse buy I guess. I own Hawken style rifles and even a underhammer with a little forearm cause really muzzloaders are like women they are all nice to look at!!!  thmbsup

Like the look of the full stock slim flint locks & Kentucky rifles, but have only owned 1, currently own half dressed ladies.

Fullstock for me... can't say why but they just have character.... something about running your hand up the long thin strands... oops wrong topic.... hdslp

Dryball

Maybe a better one though.

redhawk

I like the look and feel of a full stock.

For a large caliber rifle the half stock does it for me, but when it comes to squirrel rifles the looks of a full stock are best.

I'd say half stocks for me, but you never know how my likes can change over time.

All of the above! I have a FS flint daily shooter, a half stock seldom shooter, one just off the bench for the nephew 1/2 stock, 2 on the bench 1/2 stocks (one for son one for me?)  a full stock flint in the holding pattern (1/2 done), and a flint pistol. I just like them all. I enjoy making the full stocks more if that counts for anything. I hate those nipple drums, and dislike the barrel ribs. Wait  I'm getting off track........ hdslp

I have both full stocks and half stocks and really have no preference between them. Its not an issue with me.
