The tang sight I ordered came in.   rdfce   Dont fit my Hawkin.   hdslp  It does fit my Handy rifle, but that was gona come later.  [hmm] Dont know how I did that, but it is done!
Does anyone have a TC Hawken with a TANG sight. Dont want a receiver sight. If so, please allow me th make model serial # exct on it.

Ive worked out that to use the front sight I have,... .3775" high, I need a tang sight that has a minimum hight of .855".
I found a Marbels that I can make fit, but I would need a front sight about 1.17" high!!!!
Cant take that to th woods!! Any help out there????   (susp)

Yep! Saw that one. Finaly found a lyman 57 slm, that everybody says will fit.  yakyak

At this point Ill put it on with bailin wire if I have to!

That Lyman sight will out shoot the TC tang sight ten times to one. They're expensive but pretty much worthless, won't find many on the range.

Blackfeet

I have several of the Lymans and they will work, no yakyak yakyak.

Not sure what you consider a 'receiver ' sight for a Hawken [hmm] Do not think that they have one.
Here is a Lyman on a left handed Investarms Hawken

What Blackfeet is showing you is THE way to go.

Wasnt knockin reciever sights   noway  ...was a little miffed about being directed to them instead of the tang sights I was askin about elsewhere. Little P O got droped here from past experiences.  rdfce I got th 57sml ordered, and th 57smet I bought by mistake will go on my 45-70 Handy rifle. Thank you all for th advise, and help!  thmbsup That little break down didnt look right with that big ol scope on it anyway!
