Linsey Woolsey

only one I own at the present moment..

She's a fine looking smokepole and as long as you are happy and putting the round balls on target then more power to you.  What's her name?

Had one just like her and against my better judgement  I traded it off to my brother.  I have been trying for years to get it back.  It was a good shooter.  The barrel was made in USA.  I got my hands on a flintlock one a couple years ago. But it is not the shooter the other one was.  They are good shooting guns.  A word to the wise hang on to her!

I have one like that. Old Faithful is the her name. Shoots straight and is always ready to shoot.
You have some nice gear! Thanks for sharing.

Her name is Linsey Woolsey...and the tacks were in here when I traded for her. I was thinking of making her a full stock flintlock, on the model of a JJ Henry

If you are only going to own one (for the time being, of course) that is a good one to own. I have one in .45 and it loves to shoot.
I am the one your mom warned you about!

I've converted one pop lock to flint, had a couple done and owned two that were convertibles. Knowing the CVA breech plug design I would not even consider converting any CVA. Now that leaves you the opportunity to get another gun, specifically a flinter.

just wondering , did you rework or switch out the trigger guard , or was that how it was when you got it ?  I always liked the original guards on these !
