PaPa's latest smoothbore build

Papa wanted to share the smoothbore he built and is still having issues with the photos so I'm posting this for him plus the knife he just finished .

" Finally completed the smoothbore, and a quick knife. Not from any school, just what I wanted. Light, short 20 ga with a few different features. Brass sighting plane, cannon muzzle and half stock. Barrel was turned from a straight 1" octagon and lock is a large Siler."

over all a very nice job , but must admit that my favorite part is the barrel ! the cannon muzzle really sets it apart

Uh,, the lock is on wrong side

That is a nice rifle. I love the cannon muzzle, as I don't recollect seeing one before. It's just too bad that, as mtnmike said, the lock is backwards so normal people would have to hold it upside down and pretend it's an underhammer to shoot it.
