Identification of a Barrel

There are a couple smoothbore barrels on eBay this morning listed as "maker unknown". On the barrels is a "D" under a crown.
Do any of you recognize this mark? I will see if I can get a picture of it.

      cant find any mark as described, and checked ebay  still cant locate this mark on any tables of proof marks etc.

I believe the Crown D is a Belgian proof mark.Most like one of the thousands of barrels that Bannerman imported after WWII.
