Went to the range, got loading, didn't get to shoot

Had a great family get together last weekend. Started as a picnic, ended as a loading marathon for me. I loaded over 150 charges and got to shoot only 7. It was a hoot. I had two 5 year olds and two eight year olds shooting 25 gr loads of shot from a 54 cal fowler and all of the 12 year olds to adults shooting scads of small balls from a 32 cal Hawken. Started out shooting at plastic practice golf balls set on tees ended and ended up shooting the postal offhand and bomb targets. these youngsters are good
By the way, These practice golf balls are hollow plastic, very inexpensive, and can take up to 20 observed hits and still sit on a tee. That and unlike a real ball, only travel 20-30 feet.
As a side note, for those who shoot the small bores; I bought 16 lbs of 1 1/2 buckshot (.310) from Ballistics Products and it shoots through 1 hole at 25 yds.(hey, I only shot one shot, what do you expect?) Seriously, 2400 balls for $62, how can you go wrong?
