Allright, you can call me Mr. Unclear on the Concept, I do not mind. Would someone please tell me what makes a horn right or left, and why it matters? I can wear mine on either side and it does not seem to make a difference. I suppose that I sould carry it in the right with the bag on the left. I am right handed and the logical choice for me is grab and hold with left, work with right. Thanks.
I am the one your mom warned you about!

some horns have a natural curve that goes to the left or right in addition to pointing up. thusly it will follow the contour of your body and not ride awkwardly. also the way the horn was made will will determine if it's a right or left hand ride.

The use of a horn, left or right, is dictated by the shooter and which side he, or she, is accustomed to loading from. At the range it matters little which way a horn tip points but in the woods a right hand horn would place the tip in jeopardy of hanging up in the bushes if used on the left side, and vice versa, due the twist of the horn.

I have two horns fastened to the bag so there's no choice and I usually put them on the right..  But I have another bag and horn and I'm not sure if it makes any difference when I use them.  The bags and the horns are small.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.
