Bandolier bag

starting on my bucket list - have one in process(bag and list)  - are they a true bag or have a gusset in bottom?  also can't tell if a flap or open top?  Eyes aren't going to last long enough to  make that wide a strap    Mounted to stiff leather or soft stuff?  You guys out there are the experts, I'm just a wanta be craftsman.  thanks Di
