This was my first try at putting together a hawk back in 1974. About 5 years ago I had to let it go to a friend. Yesterday he contacted me and offered it back. It is nothing fancy, but it was my first hawk build and it's nice to have it back home. ;D

question ? that a hammer poll on the back or a pipe bowl ? had one back in the late 70`s just like it , the back was solid instead of hollow like most of this style you see now .  was one of the best throwers I`ve ever owned ! really nicely balanced !

It's a pipe bowl...just never drilled it as I'm not a smoker.......besides, I didn't want to screw it up!  ROFL

yeah , most I`ve seen are pipe bowls , have`nt seen a hammer poll like that in better than twenty years ! bought mine from brad vosburgh  in westminster maryland !  cousin broke it on a bitterly cold winter day , slapped it against a rock and it just sorta made a "PING" and the hammer poll fell off !  I was slightly miffed !  , but he was younger than me and could run faster  :mini-devil-28492:
