Went to my first muzzleloader shoot this weekend Held at the Red White And Blue range near Cairo, Nebraska. Camped friday and saturday night. Go tdown to -8 on Friday night, but stayed nice and warm in my canvas tent with my home made stove.

I had a blast and met some really cool guys. Hell I even played cards all night with Don Strinz of Strinz Tipi! He's one hell of a character!

I shot pretty good for my first time shooting my .50 Hawken, and even joined the club. So now I can go out there anytime I wish!

Yes it is Moby. But it's in the middle of the firing line, not really that big of a branch. And we made sure no one was firing near there.

That last picture looks like you learned a little about throwing a tomahawk.  blah  Time for a new handle.
The important thing is that you had a good time!

I just came across this post and wanted to say that your in good company with those hairy legged pea pickers out at the NMLRA! ... I was a member of that club for many years and Donnie Strinz and I have been good friends for near forty years now!

Have fun,
Rick

BRRRR--our  NMLRA winter shoot in in AZ is much warmer..though has been known for wind at times....like this year.. not much over 70mph, but that raised ned with camps and traders..
