Do you have a pocket on the back of the bag, as well as one inside and another on the front???
Or my old eyes not telling my old brain what they are seeing???
I am in the process of getting the parts cut out for a bag and am absorbing any and all info I can!!

Yes sir, (3) pockets total, besides the main one. The one on the inside is for little things like jags and what not. The one on the back contains a flint and steel set. And the one on the front is for whatever.

That looks incredibly good! What did you use for the brass "dot" decoration? Are those upholstery tacks - and if so how did you close off the pointy side?

Yes brass upholstery tacks. I put them in before lining it with the pillow ticking, and cut off the extra and peened them flat, then put the ticking on.
