I havent been around

for a while due to having my right hip replaced on August 31. Healing up now and having to use the pain meds less and less so everything is not as fuzzy and I can kinda see straight. I hope you are all well and enjoying life. Hope soon to be able to walk on my own and start shooting again. Deer season wont be to much to brag about this season, or next, which will be worse due to the drought. We've lost 90% of our fawns because of the conditions.
Have enjoyed reading al lot of your posts and catching up. I didnt post about the surgery because, as most of you that know me know, I dont like to draw attention to myself when others have it a whole lot worse than I do. When I am back on my feet and healthy I will seek gainful employment and hopefully get back on my feet financially. Being out of work for a year will take its toll on anyone.

I am glad you posted, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  I thought of you just the other day and was afraid you had been in the midst of some them fires down that way.  Good to hear from you and hope you make a good and speedy recovery. dave

Slowly but surely healing. Its painful. Worst part is that I am having to miss out on all the fun William is having!!! LOL!
