i am looking for information about the miami indians i have read what is on here but am looking for a bit more. my persona is a mountain man who adopts the native lifestyle and i live where the miami were so i figured i would go with the indians that were part of my ancestors

i have much miami and blackfoot blood on both my grandparents side is there anyway to become a member of a tribe still today or is it unheard of if you werent born into todays tribes

That is something you will have check on through tribal head quarters. I know that you will have prove percentage of blood, but I do not know how much.
Maybe Micanopy or some of the others can give us that information
