What's your most reliable rifle, the one you can always count on to fire, the one that seems to make a flint last forever?  It doesn't have to be the most accurate or even your favorite, just most dependable.
Tell us about it and post a picture of it.  Mine is a "run of the mill" .45 Lancaster that keeps firing with just a flake of flint.

Show your dependable firelock and praise it right here!

my zoli harpers ferry is very reliable , and I`d have to say the same for my middlesexvillage trading company brown bess ! bess was half the price of the fancier companies guns , and just as good a shooter !

Pox,the southern gun I built a lot of years ago. It has a Silver Fox lock out of Colorado,no longer around, that I've put THOUSANDS of round's through, taken 9 Deer,20+ squirrels,2 partrige and @6 turkey's at the Live turkey shoot. Green Mt. barrel,.50 cal. 70grs3f,.495 ball and pillow tick with spit. Bird's eye Maple stained with potasium permaginate, finished with Boiled linseed oil.Near as I can figure, she was built @"86-88,before I began keeping record's.She's my "Go to" gun when I really want to shine!

Really need to get better pic's.

Yes it is.  It replaces a longer, heavier rifle I was forced to sell.  I already have one SMR but it is a tiny squirrel flinter in .36.  I do love the SMR.
