Last Saturday afternoon at a cookout - Had a Bald Eagle swoop in low over our group. What a Magnificent sight. I just stood there in Awe at seeing it and most of the kids from the swim team - They never even noticed. I  am so glad they are nesting and thriving in Ohio... Never even saw one till 2 years ago... dntn

I have one that lives near me on the other side of the river[Neversink]he occasionally makes fly bys of my yard,He doesn't bother me and I don't bother him and he is a beautiful sight I do worry about my dogs and cat alittle but I think he has better things to eat.

i always see them in ky during the summer months, i just wonder if they stay here year round or if they move to other areas later on, they also tend to keep near large bodies of water, ie lake cumberland/ cumberland river.

Had one land in my yard a couple years ago.Thought their was something wrong with it so i called the conservation officer. She shows up with a vet to find the thing sitting on my camper with nothing at all wrong with him.

See many of them up here. If I would have had my camera working when I was out at the end of the firearms deer season, I could have got pics of about 20 of em in a group.
