My Bethy makes awesome frybread. I asked her for the recipe and all I got was flour, baking powder, milk, warm water. No measurements. She wings it. Best I could get was lots of flour, little bit of powder, enough water to activate the powder. Then add milk till doughy. Sorry, that's the best I got.

found ya another one in old book-  2 c flour,1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp shortening, 3/4 c water    oil for frying    Mix dry ingredients, work in shortening, add water and mix well.  Shape into 6 equal balls.  Roll one at a time into 1/8 thickness, cut each into 6 wedges.  Fry in hot fat (375)  until puffy and brown.  Makes 3 doz.  Like said never made them but ate um.
