cool  links    sadly there is not much out there in the internet about the Kiowa people   The language is dying as the young people  move away from Tradition and into more "cool" modern things.   I reckon that is a problem for most all nations to some degree... Thankyou for posting these links ..

You're welcome!  are you kiowa?  Do you have any more info you would like to share?

I am of Kiowa ancestry   I am not however a registered member of the Kiowa tribe   though i have been told  i have enough blood to do so.  I choose not to  feeling that should be left to those who are at least half  which i am not  im under that...   I wish i did have more info to offer   My grandfather  was starting to teach me  things  when i was 8  My father was none to happy  as he was picked on  quite a bit as a kid  because of his Indian blood  He grew up in Oklahoma.  so He didnt want me to learn any of it.  My grandfather ignored him on this matter  But sadly  he passed away when i was 9 and before he really taught me much....  Im on a constant search  for every bit of info i can find.

That's too bad about your grandpa dying before you could learn much.  I will see what I can  can find tomorrow when I get to work.  I will search my anthropology journals as well.  If you pm your address I may be able to send you something.  Cross your fingers...
