Between Rain Storms a little fun.

Got to the range today for a little fun, between the rain.

Got to exercise the 1860, 20 gr, pyro p, 451 rb, shot 24 shots point shooting between 7 & 10 yds, at bowling pins and scored a 7 yard hit on the Skoal can point shooting.

the round ball was recovered about a ball diameter deep in the bowling pin.

Field cleaned her, and shot this target at 50yds offhand, (sorry, I used 2 hands)  6 o'clock hold, 25 gr pyro p.

1st 3 shots on the left, last 3 on the right.
this was the first target to slow fire at, shot 2 more targets, but this was the best.

I think i got a keeper...
i may try .454 balls, as i would like a little more lead to ring off the ball on loading.

I had 1 not what i would call a misfire, but the cap didn't go off on the first hammer fall, (i don't think i seated it well enough. so the hammer did it for me) but after that,made sure all were well seated, and all went bang..

One or two hands, that's some good shooting at 50 yds. He'd a been a deader.

The pistol knows what to do, i just hold it up so it is pointing toward the target..

Dang- I knew skoal cans were good for something. Does it give you a wintergreen cloud when they get hit??

Don't use the stuff my self, but could fill them with flour.. big puff..
