Some news about Homer Dangler

I'm posting this on a couple of boards, so as many people see it as possible:

A friend of mine sent me this email earlier this week. Thought some of ya'll would want to know:

"Now about Homer Dangler. Saw Bud DeGroot at the (Ohio Flintlock & Buckskin) Rendezvous. Bud is a close, long time friend of Homers. Bud told me that Homer was 'not doing well.'
Seems that Homer had a growth high on his forehead, he put off having it looked at until he came back to Michigan from Florida. They took it off, biopsied it and, yes, it is malignant...then just before the shoot the wound started bleeding and the last that Bud heard was that Homer was back in the hospital or under closer doctor's care and of course, he did not make it to Ohio this weekend. I thought you would like to know and I am sorry I don't have more detail but that is all Bud knew as of Thursday.

I'm sure many of you will join me saying prayers for Homer. If anyone knows more or has an update please let us know.

I always enjoy visiting with Mr Dangler and his lovely wife at Friendship. No matter how busy or what was going on they would take time to converse. I do hope he is OK, I hope my prayers help him!

Great news!
I received a note from Homer today! He says he is healing nicely and doing well for 84 years old!
