They're calling for substantial snow this evening and tomorrow here in Gardiner Maine.  Right now it's as cold as a mother-in-law's heart.

       It may have missed your neck of the woods,  but sure did not miss here.   7+ inches of snow,  and no way to get to the snow blower in the shed.  It is blocked by the lawn tractor, lawn sweeper etc.  I am sure to    from SWMBO.    Need to take the Expedition and flatten the snow, sleet, freezing rain and the top coat of another 1 1/2 inches of snow.   And that I will also hear    about.    Sure beats walking behind a snow blower, and a lot quicker.

Appears we got around 6" of fluffy snow, as best as I can measure.

Measured 9" on the patio table. of course that was after a few hours of above freezing temps. It all came down in 6-7 hours. I got up on Thursday morning and got the snowblower and gas can out of the shed & put them in the garage. Guess I'm not as dumb as I look. It started snowing as I was on my way home from rehab. I had to stop @ Walmart on my way home. but not for Bread milk or toilet paper. lunchmeat salad and cheese

Bah!  You guys get all the luck.  My three sets of cross country skis and four pairs of snowshoes haven't seen snow since I left Alaska 12 years ago, and I miss it.

School is almost over - the light at the end of the tunnel is daylight, not a freight train! It as been a long 4 years and I wish to thank all of you who have stood by me and helped me maintain my sanity ( by showing me how insane some of some of you can be...)
