Pemi primitive biathlon

Did the warm up shoot today for the February Primitive biathlon at the Pemi Valley Fish and Game Club in Holderness NH. I did  the untimed woods walk and was a bit disappointed with my shooting. Out of 9 targets I only hit 5. I could blame a lot of things but I'm only going to blame my self. I'll have to practice some between now and the February event.

One of the things about a woods walk is that the targets aren't all at 25, 50, and100 yards. You have to know your gun and be confident in your hold.

Were some of the targets uphill, downhill, or across a ravine? Those make a woods walk a lot more interesting than if everything is on the flat.
