Came across a deal today! Never been shot and its #277 of 1000. I bought it more as an investment but its real tempting to take it to the range hntr

nice rifle , I`ve seen one , store near me had one in stock for a few years , in fact the last time I was there back around 2007 they still had it . i thought the single set trigger was interesting !

Yes, the trigger is very interesting. I have not seen one quite like it. It is a very smooth working set trigger. I would guess this is a very accurate shooter. That's why it is so tempting to take it to the range. pnic ..I just don't want to kill the value of it since it has never been shot.

I just don't know, Cherrybow1, it is a beauty and is making us all jealous.  And just me but I wouldn't be able to stand it knowing it was in the safe growing old.  That fine rifle is screaming to be taken out and shot.  It could end up being your favorite go-to rifle for matches AND deer.  Or better yet just send it to me and I'll adjust the sights, find the most accurate load and send you my evaluation.  Deal?  hntr
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

BOOM---I can't stand to have one I won't shoot...... Just me..

I bought an unfired gun in 1976. It kept eating at me through the years. Finally I shot it last year. It was accurate with little recoil.

It makes me angry that I waited so long. Besides, if I wanted to sell it, I could do like the dealers do and say, "appears to be unfired."

However, it's still a free country (so they say), do what you want. It IS your rifle.
