If youve never been you really should see the giant og the north Fort Michilimacinac. Right at the southern end of the Mackinaw Bridge. just across the bridge in St.Ignace is the Fort Debuode museum,filled with wonderful displays and a large bp gun collection, take a ferry to the island to see ft Mackinaw an 1812 fortress,lots to see everywhere in this area

I've seen the fort from the bridge a time or two, never got over to it.  Now I wish I had.
