Well,.. I managed to Escape Quarantine and attend the Fort Greenville Muzzleloaders Turkey Shoot. We are good about Maintaining the 6 feet and all that stuff and it was at our outdoor range so along with the Cold 25 mile per hour wind gusts and the Drizzle coming right in you face at the range,. the Virus was kept in check...
I wanted to make it because it is the last Club Shoot of the Year and it is always a challenge and a good time. It Drizzled and that made the priming powder turn to mud in the pan,..But Heartless did her job well and took pity on me dntn So after changing a flint because the wind was Blowing the sparks out before they got to the pan, and then as I was trying to change the Flint  hdslp having the wind blow the leather away pnic pnic and then Cutting a new leather and getting the flint in. it only took 3 shots to make the Turkey Limit. and I got to go and eat the Excellent Soup and Sandwich in the Club Shelter house next to the wood-burning stove, and out of the Cold and Wind...for the rest of the shoot thmbsup

Well, at least you were able to get in some BP fun; and turkeys, to boot!

I do not like wind and will only tolerate it in the summer - like I can do anything about it.  noway

Any wind in merely "cool" but especially "cold" weather will give me an instant sinus infection.  And I've seen it so windy it would hold a brick to a wall!  But I gotta get to the range next week, if I can get a day with no rain, and empty my two rifles and pistol.  Plus maybe a prolonged session while I'm at it.  That will depend on whether I'm alone (happens more often than one would think) or not.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.
