That's a gorgeous little gun!  It should be a fine shooter with both ball and shot.  I especially like that good looking walnut stock and the extra fine metal/wood fitting.  Didn't notice but does it have a rear sight?  My .62 has one and it makes it much easier (for me, that is) to aim.

Tell ya' what, doggoner, ship it to me and I'll ring it out for you with ball and shot, chronograph it & find you a good load.  And in 12 to 24 months I'll send it back, maybe, so you can play with it.  Now I don't do this for just anybody, but seeing as you are a good buddy; I'll do it for you just this once.
