Ok I am going to the gent's house today,

We have Plum Brown, Propane torch, old blue jean cloth, some Harbor freight wire brushes... and my camera.... Hopefully this will turn out alright... I will read the instructions when I get there and may pop online today from my laptop if things go south!

Wow I really wish I could have talked him out of the gun... It looked fine as it was, a little rusty in the bores but I think they could have been cleaned up.  It is a Petrosolli double barrel with sequential barrel serial numbers...

So, after 4 coats of the LMF browning solution, and following the directions and most of the advice, I am TOTALLY unhappy with the results.

Oooh! Now I feel bad for recommending it!    LMF has worked well for me on three different guns; I'm sorry it didn't do well for you!
