Tis the (BP) season!

If anyone out there in "On the Cheap" land has the unparalleled honor and pleasure    of being in the Northern end of the Golden State the weekend of April 13th, 14th, 15th, & 16th,  the 37th annual Sonoma Valley Muzzle Loaders Rendezvous will be held in the thriving community of Yorkville, CA (population, eh, about 4) at the stunningly beautiful Marie Hill Ranch. Being as I have a friend with a ranch about  a half mile down the road, we will haul old Bruce out there and after putting on an amazing display of shooting excellence, we will head over and spend a couple hours making the big booms with the cannon. I will be there on Friday if perchance any very lost mountain men are in the area and would like to join in.

And for those of you in the Buckeye state, or close, the Ohio Longrifle Collectors will be meeting for the 42nd time at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta, Ohio. Springtime on the Ohio.
