Have heard a little about it, but want to learn more, any help on where to find the history would be much appreciated . flwa

I read quite a bit about it but I can't remember where. I believe he (Bent) did a lot of trading with the Cheyenne. I vaguely remember something about a standoff between the Cheyenne and the Comanches (or Kiowas) where they had to stay on opposite banks of the river. It was some sort of great meeting of the tribes.
