I don't know a whole lot about Brian. I know he's a machinist and makes some great knives. I have watched this feller grab on to this hobby with both hands and hang on for dear life. He has an insatiable hunger for the sport of black powder and I'm glad to know him. He only lives a couple hours from me and the next time I'm in Perryopolis visiting family I am going to visit with him in person. Lookin forward to it too.

So, one more Special Person I would like you folks to meet...Brian aka Melsdad.

I know very little about Melsdad, but if Ranger says he's special...then he's special! And, if you need corroboration, looking over Brian's posts from the time he joined us till now has shown that he has a real interest in being part of our forum family...even after he's gotten the information he asked for he has consistently stayed around and jawed with folks. He's been quick to help when others have needed answers, has never spoken an unkind word, nor made himself out to be superior in any way. Since this is much of what makes a person special then yes, he is a special person. Besides, he is raising a very lovely young lady in the correct muzzleloading manner!
