I'm new and just getting set up for rendezvous fun, so was reading about Tater73's first woods walk, and the guys in period clothing shooting really got me going. His pictures were just georgous. I can't wait to get set up and attend some of these fun activities. I don't care if I win or not, just being part of it will be enough for me. hntr ;D ;D dntn

I very much enjoyed the woods walks I participated in and wish there were more opportunities around here.

We used to have those at the club where I shoot, but there is not a good place to do them any more and no one that wants to set them up.
I mostly shoot on my own and attend a shoot when I get a chance, but I have made a lot of friends through the local and state clubs.

Here in my mountain there are no clubs to visit, but I am blessed with thousands of acres of land where I can throw on my pack, possibles bag& smokepole, and "walk" for quite a spell with no interruptions, nor clock. So I reckon a walk in the woods is very good for soothing the beast. [conf]
