Have 2 nice hides bought about 4 years ago, been in a box in closet. Took them out and they seem to have puffed up and lost some of softness and color not as nice white.  Any suggestions - weren't cheap!  Thanks

Work them over a breaking beam and they should soften up. Should be plenty warm enough these days to let the friction work thru the hides

Halito and thank you!  May have to use the back of chair as I don't do heat anymore.  Did an old ivory tan that way long ago and worked fine that and just pulling and stretch by hand.  So good to hear from you, take care   micasee naughi wahooska
