I thought I would not talk about this any more but decided you folks should know too! A few weeks ago(just before Thanksgiving) I had MRI done on both shoulders! Good news is the right one is only 1/2 torn up....lefty is plumb gone. After Christmas I have to begin the surgerys. On another forum I did a post that was on the poor little me side.  hdslp  I was down in the dumps. After the sholders comes the neck! Been in a lot of pain, and it all stacked up!  Had to go back and apologies to them fellers and God.....for complaining instead of thanking God for the 60+ years of hard work I got out of this pair!!!
It was a humbling experience to have that little something nagging at you about your attitude.
Here I am just asking for more prayers to get me through this. Dont want no sympathy, just your voice to God!
Thanks all
Merry Christmas

Prayers up from here. And a bit of advice. My wife had a total knee replacement, and after the surgery, no matter how much it hurts,
you HAVE to do all the exercises they give you. Seems some folks think the surgery will take care of it all and don't do the exercises. They end up no better off or worse. Maggie was in tears sometimes, but now has been cleared to do anything she did in the past.
Hang in there!  thmbsup

I'll add you to my prayer list. Good luck on the shoulders. Had my left one done in 2009 and was amazing after therapy. I have to get my right one done. Hope your shoulder gets fixed for good.Let us know how it goes.

Had my right one done back in '07. I put up w/it for 18 yrs. But when I started having trouble lifting my hand to fasten my belt & getting my coffee cup, I had surgery. Had a bone spur that frayed the tendon (rotator  cuff?) so bad, the doctor had to disconnect my bicep & reattach it w/ a steel wire closer to the chest so it didn't tear things when I lifted more than 5 lbs. After therapy, I got over 95% movement back. Next week, I go in for surgery to move a pinched ulnar nerve in my left elbow. The doctor won't promise I'll be 100% afterwards but if I can get off of the pain med or @ least reduce the amount I'll be content. Hope your surgery goes well & you can get back to what you want to do.

You got 'em from here!  I can empathize as nearly 20 years ago I had major surgery on both shoulders, one at a time.  It took me a few years to fully recuperate.  I KNOW what pain you're going through.  I had to sleep sitting up a total (both surgeries) of probably nearly 3 months.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

offering up prayers for you, we'll burn sage and sweet grass and pray for your recovery.

Both of my shoulders are "gone",so here's my advise. 7 surgery's. Replacements are not an option, nothing left to attach them to, DO YOUR EXERSISE's plus a whole lot more!!!!!!  I have developed my deltoid muscles to the point that I can shoot traditional archery,bowl,(145 ave and rising FAST),and most anything else I want to do. And don't forget the pain med's very very important. Do not suffer needlessly. It will accomplish nothing.

Good luck!
