Yesterday I received two pairs of moccasins from The Stichin' Scotsman. Can I ask what people are finding best to use for leather dressing that'll darken them a bit and offer protection?

I have been using mink oil for everything from leather dressin to patch lube,

Let's see now, shoot canoes, arm squirrels, now putting dresses on moccasins. I don't know if I like the direction this forum is taking, maybe it's time to take a jug or two away from our peerless leaders. Just sayin'.

(Mineral oil and melted bees wax and melted paraffin in equal parts has worked for me for years.)
I am the one your mom warned you about!

If you put it on the OUTSIDE it's dressing. If you put it on the INSIDE it's STUFFING!  &)

Mink oil, Dubbin, Neatsfoot oil all help keep the leather supple and moist and help waterproof.
