Don't know my own strength!

OK, maybe, just maybe I should lighten up on the velocity of my throws whilst practicing the ancient art of hawk throwing. Along with my rugged good looks and charm, I knew I was stronger than most, but even I did not realize how strong I really was. This is what happens when you don't rein it in.  hdslp

Wellllll who knows, that old half dead tree might have been ready to go and it might have fallen over when a friend and I leaned on it while checking our throwing accuracy, and maybe we leaned a bit hard just to see how stable the tree really was, but I am sticking with my original story. I might have the throwing strength of the Gods ( bs ), but I swear to use my super powers only for good.

Perhaps you can build up your arm strength by chopping the tree up.   ;D

Hmmmmm. Well I do have a sufficient supply of tomahawks to whittle it on down.    [hmm]

All joking aside,  I would worry about fires.  As dry as everything is,  I don't know if I would be throwing  anything that can create sparks.    Hope you get rain soon.

Don't really have to worry about fires so much. I am in the middle of a vineyard and we are surrounded by vineyards and there is virtually no brush or tall grass to catch. This little section in the front yard is about the largest concentration of flammable cover around and it is surrounded by a concrete driveway and the dirt road. That said, it would be nice to get some rain but it looks like it will be a long hot simmer, I mean summer. Usually our first rain is around Halloween. Well there is always the rain dance again, but I ran out of pig manure and I can't find any garter snakes around, oh well.

The grapes sure must be sweet.  That's the one thing that never made sense to me,  Wet rainy growing season = sour grapes, less sweet,  Dry growing season = sweet grapes
