Pipe

I was at a gunshow awhile back an there was a trader set up who had some pipe stone so I bought a piece off of him an decided I'd make myself a pipe, found a site on the internet showing how to carve an finish it, was actually easier than I thought it would be, but very messy, red dust gets everywhere, then ordered a stem from Crazy crow an colored the wood with pastel chalk then tungoiled it,

have made and sold several pipes . find working on them to be relaxing !  catlinite is a good choice , easy to work and pc ! so is steatite , and slate !  each type of stone has it`s little quirks !  that turned out really nice !  I have a big chunk of stone , might have to do a couple pipes !

That pipe is very nice.  It will look even better with a feather or two.
