My little New Orleans Ace pistol......Jackie likes this one!

What I need to do to this is to push out the pin that holds the hammer and put in a new spring.  Anybody know where I can get a new spring, Acme Spring Works just closed?

tom-h

dixie gun works send them the old spring and they will cut one the right size for ya.

It's not what tool you use to hunt with.
It's that you use the tool Legally and Ethically

There are a couple that are close to this one on Gunbroker that look like fun.. little different style, but a small boot pistol none the less.

RoaringBull

Well, we got the problem fixed.....wasn't the spring after all, was the nipple...too short, gotta another on it and shoots good....still might need a longer one, but what is the longest nipple?

mongrel

Ain't touchin' that with a ten-foot pole.

Try on line or a catalog to Track of the Wolf, in their Parts section under niples there is a large asortment of percussion niples in various lengths and thread sizes.  Have done a lot of buisness with these people and have never been disapointed........................................Bullfrog

I was given the same pistol as a kit but mine does not have the trigger and hammer spring but i do have the nipple. Let me know if you want me to measure it for you. I have to call Dixie to see about getting some springs for mine.

Mike

RoaringBull

yeah if you could measure it that would be great....

Through emails with Dixie I don't think they have springs, etc for them anymore...did give me a number to call of somebody but already deleted the email

The nipple .is .578 from the top of the threads to the top of the nipple and the overall length is .657 hope this helps.
