Received my two steel strikers from MIKE AMELING the german blacksmith (IOWA) THEY BE FINE INDEED !   Everybody needs to have a few of his ...
Now what was funny was he taped em to some cardboard which makes em kinda sticky then "fuzzy" with the stickie residue ... sorta like the flints I used to get from one of the good guys at the TMA.   Remember FUZZY FLINTS  makes em stick better in ya flintlock ...
Rumor has it Mike Ameling needs to sell some stuff to feed his 23 kids ... well however many kids n critters he's got.
  He be a real straight shootin fella for sure...
You will find him posttin over at Historical trekking and some other sites.
oh  and to the member here who sent me char clothe  ... I be gettin a good fire kit together thanks to guys like you ...

Mike is making special strikers for the BOY Scouts   they be a little softer and will put up with alot of abuse hittin n droppin etc.
Perfect for kids grandkids and clumsy old men.
