Yeah, I know.  On the cost per shot I'm not making any money but it's kinda a one size fits all load for the three .54 rifles I have.  They all seem to like 90 grains so why mess with success?  We shoot 25, 50 and 100 yards for aggregate and then a fun shoot at the same distances.  A little Kentucky windage and either a six o'clock or dead center hold and I am good to go.

We shoot 25,50 and 100 yards for both and aggregate match and then a fun match.  The 90 grains of 2F is a lazy persons way to a one size fits all kinda solution.  I have three .54 rifles and that load-powder, ball, patch-combination shoots well in all of them.   With a little Kentucky windage and either a dead center or six o'clock hold I can hit paper at all three distances.  I know it isn't making me any money using that much powder in the rifles for every situation but I'm shooting because I like to shoot and don't like to think too much about the money end of it.  (Just ask my wife about that.)  If I wanted to make money I'd be a politician.  If I spend all my money on powder it keeps me away from demon rum and loose women.  Or is it loose rum and demon women?!?!?
