 Great book. Another is The voyageurs Highway by Grace Lee Newt as well.
  Most people dont realize justhow much the voyageurs did for where we are today.

Havent read "The Highway"Another is "Ceasars of the Wilderness" about Radison and Grossliers.

  The voyageurs highway has a special spot in my heart. Not only is Grace Lee Newt a great author and accurate historian, but she mentions my rendezvous persona in it--which just so happens to be my 7x great grandfather.
