36 inch barrel 50 caliber 13/16 across the flats. I love the light weight and balance.
It has won many shooting matches, but the barrel is too thin for my elk loads. I figured that out after the 2nd elk I got with it because the barrel bulged a hair under the rear sight with a 90 grain load.

I have or maybe had is more proper a 45 flinter. The barrel got trashed in an incident of great stupidity and I had to replace the barrel. I replaced it with a green mountain in .32 x 42" Extended the forarm stock put it all together and its my most favorite rifle right now. Always did shoot well but now she shoots like a dream. I'm looking forward to a lot of tree rat hunting this fal!  hntr
