Title: Fabric
Post by: hrayton on June 21, 2010, 10:13:21 PM
I was in one of those giant wal marts over the weekend, and they have some great prices on fabric right now. Still making clothes and such to get ready, but I picked up some nice oatmeal colored muslin for 2.50 a yard, and their heavy tent canvas was going for around 4.50 a yard. I figured for those prices I could make some great oilcloth without worrying about screwing it up, hunters frocks, etc. TONS of fabric on clearance, soooooo.....it's worth the trip if any of you folks get a sewing bug.  ;D

One Downtown Tulsa did close out all fabric!!  Can't see them closing out the department in the little stores in rural areas but.  Think old Sam maybe rolling over more than once.  Think check into stock for Hancock and JoAnn's- ain't got no money and probabily just make me ill if did.  Guess time to figure out how to weave or they got gunny sacks cheap at local feed store! pnic  that stuff itches!!
