Yes ladies and Gents its for real. At this time its snowing in the Tampa bay area ( Its not sticking bit its falling). If the earth keeps warming at this rate, in a year or two Ill be the proud owner of Floridas first snow plow.

I can, an still do remember that on Jan. 17th. 1978 I was wipin the fog offin the inside of the hospital window whilst ex #1 was tryin ta watch it snow. That was in jacksonville, Fl. It was also the first time in recorded history that it snowed in the BAHAMAS (susp) pnic pnic pnic

I remember that. I was in Pensicola and got sent home from school. the whole city shut down and the national guard was on standby. all that for 40 minutes of flurries ROFL ROFL ROFL

Snowed as far down as Lake OceeChobee in 1975 I think it was. Didnt stick but it was falling. Had ice on some of the water out in the glades for a little bit of time.
july 1984 was not a hot summer month here in pa . in fact it never got above 76 degrees all that summer , and rained often enough that a lot of farmers lost their crops .but the weirdest thing that july was the day we were getting snow flurries in south central pa ! guess that was when this global warming thing started , been getting chillier ever since ! ROFL
I lived in Sanford during the winters of 77-79. Couldnt handle all that green stuff. Aint been back since. I happen ta like all 4 seasons, but for you folks ta be gittn the white stuff down there aint good. After all you folks aint adjusted to it an yall are also the ones who grow alot of our food.

Was at Keesler AFB, Miss. the winter of '67-'68. Had a couple of inches of snow. We yankees had a snowball fight and then changed into our civilian clothes and went into Biloxi to watch the car wrecks. It was a blast.
Wisconsin people aint that wimpy are they? We have had it as cold as more than 60 below up here in northern Mn right across the lake from Wisconsin and I still went out Ice fishing. Heck--- I still go camping at 40 below and ifns ya dont believe it your welcome ta come up an join me.

I'd love to do a litttle winter camping with ya Voy... but unfortunately finances are gonna keep me down here in Oklahoma for the foreseeable future...
I'm gonna be out the weekend of Feb 5th for the winterfest here in town. This camps gonna be in the city park, but at least I will be out there again.

Now that the shoveling is done, may get to go out camping Wed. if we don't get much out of storm do in Tues. Got 54" this last week, but only 0 (zero) this morning, so not to cold yet..
