In response to "Another backdoor effort", let's keep in mind two things;
To ratify any treaty the senate must have a 2/3 majority, and Reid v. Covert established that international treaties cannot override constitutional protections.

Then we should, be safe, unless the constitutional Law Professor in the out-a-round office thinks he got a loophole...
