The Favorite Rifle thread was getting a little unwieldy so I thought (not good at that, either) I'd keep it going but let open up just a tad. I don't know about most folks but I never, never tire of hearing others talk about their favorites....or talking about mine. Now's the time to brag a little but remember, if you can do it, it ain't bragging!
This is my favorite deer rifle; it's light, accurate and delightful to tote in the woods. I don't shoot it as well as I do my EV but well enough, I guess.
My favorite rifle for deer hunting is a Lyman Trade Rifle in .50 caliber with PRB.
My favorite for deer hunting is my .45 seneca, 65gr 2f, .440 prb. This rifle is light, easy to carry and accurate.
My favorite squirrel gun is a .32 crockett, a .38sp case full of 2f and a .310 prb...very accurate
My favorite paper punchin gun is a Lyman GPR, .50 cap lock...sure nuff accurate
faverite "loaner" gun is a T/C .54 new engander....purty accurate, always reliable, easy to shoot good.
My all around favorite is a .45 cva longrifle I built is high school back in '81....super accurate and very sentimental

Skwerly66, I have a .32 Crockett and yes they are tops for small critters and targets.
Yeah, Pathfinder, me too. In fact, a change may be in the works for me very shortly.
