As Scared as I am for the safety of my son. I am not asking for your prayers for me.

And his entire Battalion is being deployed to Northern Afghanistan Dec 11 by way of Germany, Kuwait etc.
I know the parents of the other young men and women must feel the same as I and that some of you have
felt this way or even have been in his place.
This Thanksgiving I ask that you keep the whole company in your prayers along with those still over there who
won't be home for the holidays.
This is not just a personal request because I am not the only one with a child headed into a war zone, but I would greatly appreciate the extra
prayers from all of you here and on ML.

Our men and women in uniform are always first in my thoughts and prayers, they are the ones who do their very best to keep us safe and free. Tell him we want him home safe. As a Vet... I 2nd this and will add your son and the 27th specifically in our prayers along with several other USAF,USMC,USA,USN & USCG units I have special people in....
Melissa- I and my wife are truly indebted to the sacrifices that the men, women, and families endure with this path. All of the services are in our daily prayers. I start with the troops where ever they are serving in my prayers. They are the reason we have what we do with the blessings of the Lord/higher spirit. I will keep all in my prayers.
