Title: Slowly comming back.
Post by: pathfinder on September 02, 2009
Had the left rotator cuff and thumb arthoroplasty done on the 20th,had both procedures done on the right side seperatly a few years ago, thought it was a good idea to get both out of the way at the same time, seemed to make sense at the time!
I keep looking at my new shop[we moved just before surgery]and it's makin' me nuts not being able to do anything for at least the next 4 weeks! AARRGG >:(
I really miss the time talking here. One handed and the meds make it difficult to spend much time here.
Well, enough whinning,at least I have an awsome wife and beautiful surroundings to explore here in Mich's U.P.!(guns and foo-fraw ta dream of too!)

Glad you will be doing better.  Don't worry, you will be able to play in your shop soon enough. :)

Think of it this way, now is the time to be working out in your mind what all you'll be making in your shop, what materials you'll need to be gathering and what would be best to start off with.  Before you know it, you'll be healed up enough to get started on the easier stuff and feeling better about the whole thing. So Get Busy!

Sounds like you're on the mend and had plenty of time to plan your next project.  We are all guilty of not appreciating our good health until we lose it.
