Title: My new coat!
Post by: Dryball on August 21, 2009
This is my new blanket coat made by Tom's lovely wife. Just received it and plan to use it at the Holcomb Valley rendezvous this September. I really needed this coat...guess Tom read my mind and put it up for sale just in time...thank you Tom! It fits perfectly...and it's hot!

Looks good and they are warm. Single layer for the torso is good for down to about 20-25 degrees and a double thick torso is good for more than 40 below from my experience. I have a double I use for our Winterfest encampment and have been out there at temps over 40 below and have been plenty warm with it.

Thanks for the comments Voy. I  think for California this should be perfect! And I couldn't afford a warmer coat in any case...so lucky me! ROFL
