Title: First request
Post by: pathfinder on August 18, 2009
Haven't really felt the need for others prayers,God is doing a great job of taking care of me and those I love, but this Thursday I'm going in for some work on my left shoulder and thumb and could use a little support. First time in 4 surgery's I'm a little nervouse, and maybe a little bummed, shootin' this fall is not an option, and that's what I live for all year. Will post soon after the procedures. Thanks Fella's

Pathfinder,

You've got all the prayers and support I can muster. Seein' as I'm in your area, I'd be more than happy to babysit your guns while you're recovering. I could take them to Western Wayne and pass them around and let everybody shoot them for you as you won't be able to. Recover quick my friend, we'll burn some powder when you get healed.

Gotta tell ya fella's, the thoughts and prayers really did their job!!! The surgery went well, both Doc's were able to fix what they needed to. The shoulder worried me 'cause the right one was un-repairable 5 years ago. Now on to the recovery and therapy. Thanks again,I'm sure you all know how much your support ment to me. A term most are afraid to use these day's, I feel the love in this group and it is good. May God bless each and every one of us !

Still have pins in thumb,I can go @5hrs out of the sling. Still very painfull, but the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter! Went in the woods the other day with "OLE WORMY" and some of my gear, just walked around scoutin' just a touch, didn't go to deep, didn't want to be found next year a pile of bones by some PoleCat who would run off with "WORMY" before reportin' his "find"! Felt a little funny not bein' in my Buckskinnin' clothes, first time in over 25yrs! Built a fire, heated up some soup and steak, and enjoyed a beautiful day in a squirell less wood's. DOES NOT get any better!
