Here are some rules I made up for the contest.

What do you think??

Rules for the Youngman/women  Outdoorsman Essay Contest

1)   Prize is a (used) CVA Mountain Stalker in .54 calââ,¬Â¦ Picture is below...

2)   All contestants are NOT to be older than 17 years old...

3)   All Essays will Judged by  3 people from my wifeââ,¬â,,¢s Seniors Club.
      They will determine the winner..

4)   All contestants (male or female) must be family member of this site.
Example: Sons, grandsons, daughters, grand daughters, nephews/nieces, boy friends/girl friendââ,¬â,,¢s kids...

5)   Essay must be 500 words or more of an experience he or she has had in the outdoors.
It could be a hunting trip, fishing trip or camping trip that they have been on...
Contestants, Please give your story a title.

6)   Parent or Guardian must fill out and mail me a signed copy of the permission slip, Before Essay in submitted.
Copy this whole page (Permission Slip) and mail it to me.  PM me for my address.

7)    Parent or Guardian is responsible for knowing his or her laws on accepting Muzzle-loaders in their State. If needed to send to a FFL Dealer, all FFL Dealers cost is youââ,¬â,,¢re responsibly.

8 )    Shipping cost will be my responsibly...

9)    Winner of contest:  Parent or Legal Guardian must send me a copy of his/her ID that shows the age of the Parent or Legal Guardian receiving the muzzleloader and/or any other information (FFL Dealer information ) if needed..

I think this is marvelous! what a great way to judge, fair and impartial, plus I like the idea of intergenerational involvement. Seniors helping kids; kids helping seniors.
